API Report: Natural gas and oil are key to rebuilding

API recently released its 2021 State of American Energy report, which gives a promising look at the natural gas and oil industry's role in the energy mix of tomorrow - and how it's powering U.S. economic recovery.

CEO Mike Sommers writes, "Led by an innovative workforce, U.S. natural gas and oil companies have propelled America to a position of global energy leadership and geopolitical strength, creating stability even in chaotic times."

In 2021, American energy companies are focused on supporting communities, innovating new technologies and materials from oil and natural gas, continuously improving environmental performance and more.
